EAGLES MAGIC (3) Sub-standard effort when 6th last start at this venue. Expecting improvement here but back to a shorter distance. Very competitive this preparation. Must respect in this event. THE OLD OLE TALE (2) Struggled when 6th last run around here. Should improve here. Has good early speed and will be nicely positioned. Can win. FAIRYHILL DAISY (4) Uncompetitive when 4th last time around here. Might take a while to wind up but should be hitting top gear in the straight. Looks promising in this race. GRUMPY DORIS (6) Was competitive when 2nd last run here and on an upward trajectory in recent races. Showing great form since coming back from a break. Possesses the talent and has some chance.
